This guide shows San Francisco staff how to keep the website up to date: blog posts, client stories, podcast episodes, the team and FAQs. Everything you need for day-to-day updates happens in one place, the CMS tab, and you don't need any design or coding skills.
- Publishing: Step by step, from login to publishing an article.
- Add a client story: Add a case to Client Success.
- Add a podcast episode: Add a Get Known episode.
Three rules
- Use the CMS tab for everyday content updates.
- Use Publish now on your own item when it's ready.
- For layouts, settings or text on the main pages, ask Katja. She passes them to a Webflow developer.
Everyone logs in with the same account, and it has full access to the site. That's why the rules matter: they keep you in the part of Webflow made for content.
How to use this guide
New here? Read Publishing once. It covers everything the other tasks build on. After that, use the topic list as a reference. The red numbers in the screenshots match the numbered steps, so step 2 is the thing marked 2.
Questions about the website go to Katja. See Who does what.
