Writing long text

Fields like the post Body, The challenge and Show notes are rich text: headings, lists, links and images.

  1. Paste as plain text so no stray styling comes with it: Cmd + Shift + V on a Mac, Ctrl + Shift + V on Windows.
  2. Headings: select the line. A dark toolbar appears above it; choose H2 for a section heading or H3 for a sub-heading. Never H1: the page already has one.
  3. Links: select the words and click the link icon (the chain) in the same toolbar. Link to pages on the site with their address, for example /insights/….
  4. Images and video: on an empty line, click the + at the start of it.

The toolbar also has bold (B), italic (I) and a quote button (“”) at the end, which turns a paragraph into a highlighted note.
